Hey everyone! BYU-Idaho's last day of the semester is next Thursday (April 9) which means i get to come home for exactly one week before having to fly back up and get started on another semester. yeh...
Anyways, being up here in the snow for a few months has made me crave my AZ desert. So while i'm home i'd like to invite anyone who'd like to come, to come with me to the Lost Dutchman Park. It's a great spot on the edge of the desert and has campfire pits and ramatas, etc. I'd like to go and roast marshmellos and just have a lot of fun! If anyone has a projector we could possibly bring that up along with a generator and watch a movie or play games.

I was thinking of going there round 6pm Tuesday, April 14th. I'm dying to see another AZ sunset! We'd stay as long as anyone's willing to stay, it's only about a half hour drive and to get in is like, $5 per car. So we'll definitely carpool.

Hello Everyone! Just wanted to send out a final reminder. Thus far, only one other person besides me has given a couple bucks for Sterling's visit to Mesa. We want him to visit, right people? For those who don't already know, we are trying to raise money to help Sterling come and visit Mesa one last time before he goes on his mission! He's aiming for sometime in April. Right now it's about a hundred bucks (although I think the longer we wait, the higher the cost will go). I know that not everyone can contribute. But if just a dozen of us do, it's somewhere around 8ish bucks. And the more people who contribute, the less you will need to contribute, if that makes sense. So if anyone would like to contribute, please contact me or Maureen Davis soon! Better yet, just post your commitment as a comment, and then I'll get in touch with you. I think I'm gonna set a deadline of beginning of March for contacting us and middle of March for collecting the money!

I also want to tell everyone about dearelder.com Its the greatest thing since sliced bread! :) It is the easiest way to communicate to a missionary while they are in the MTC. The benefits of using dearelder.com are:
1. You don't have to physically write a letter. Typing saves so much time.
2. Spell check. :)
3. As soon as you send the letter, dearelder.com prints it off and puts it in the missionaries mailbox that same day! (this means you don't have to wait for it to be delivered)
4. Its FREE as long as you are writing to a missionary in the MTC, once they leave the MTC, I would recomend sending letters.
The only downside that I can think of is that you have to set up an account the very first time you use dearelder.com, but honestly it takes a matter of minutes, then you have instant communication to your missionary. Its really simple filling out the information of the missionary, the only thing that is tricky, is that it asks which mission, and instead of putting where they are going to serve, put down Prvov MTC.
